August 15 – 18, 2025: 3rd Annual Church Camp

The annual summer camp just gets better every year. God’s presence is of course always with us, but slowing down and enjoying time with our brothers and sisters makes it very much more tangible! This year we had around 60 people attending including our most recently ordained priest Fr. Patrick McLean and Matushka Donna and 3 of their young grandchildren.

Although Joanna couldn’t make it this year her presence was felt as we had a veritable feast at each meal due to her and her hard-working meal prep team who prepared all the meals before the camp! As we have experienced considerable growth over the last couple years since moving back into our newly renovated and expanded building, and are now blessed with a second priest, Fr. Edward Jordan, we were able to serve Sunday Liturgy at both the camp chapel and the St. Aidan church in Cranbrook.

Campfire visiting, beach wandering and hiking, paddleboarding and canoeing, swimming and games, and much fellowship strengthening old friendships and discovering new friends were the fruits of the blessing of just getting together for 3 days and hanging together. A wonderful God pleasing event to enter deeper into love for God and each other. See you next year!
