SUMMARY:Sunday of the Blind Man-Divine Liturgy served inside the church
DESCRIPTION:The miracle described in today’s Gospel (John 9:1-38) is even more remarkable than it might seem at first. Saint Basil and other Fathers tell us that this was not just a case of giving sight to a blind man born with eyes that did not function\, but to someone who had no eyes at all! The second Exapostilarion for this Sunday says\, “Along the way\, our Saviour found a man who lacked both sight and eyes…”. \nThe full story can be found at oca.org \nYou must register with Fr. Andrew to come to the Liturgy.

SUMMARY:Fathers of the 1st Ecumenical Council-Divine Liturgy served in church
DESCRIPTION:Please register with Fr. Andrew if you would like to attend the Divine Liturgy. \nOn the seventh Sunday of Pascha\, we commemorate the holy God-bearing Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council. \nThe Commemoration of the First Ecumenical Council has been celebrated by the Church of Christ from ancient times. The Lord Jesus Christ left the Church a great promise\, “I will build My Church\, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Mt. 16:18). Although the Church of Christ on earth will pass through difficult struggles with the Enemy of salvation\, it will emerge victorious. The holy martyrs bore witness to the truth of the Savior’s words\, enduring suffering and death for confessing Christ\, but the persecutor’s sword is shattered by the Cross of Christ…you can find the rest of the article at oca.org.

SUMMARY:The Feast of Pentecost-Divine Liturgy served in church
DESCRIPTION:Please contact Fr. Andrew if you would like to register to attend the Divine Liturgy. \nIn the Church’s annual liturgical cycle\, Pentecost is “the last and great day.” It is the celebration by the Church of the coming of the Holy Spirit as the end—the achievement and fulfillment—of the entire history of salvation. For the same reason\, however\, it is also the celebration of the beginning: it is the “birthday” of the Church as the presence among us of the Holy Spirit\, of the new life in Christ\, of grace\, knowledge\, adoption to God and holiness…the article continues at oca.org.
