9 am, Thursday, Oct 26

Coming up this week is St. Demetrios the Myrrh-gusher’s saint’s day, and we will be serving a Divine Liturgy on his commemoration day, Thursday, Oct 26 at 9:00 am. (Since the seventh century a miraculous flow of fragrant myrrh has been found beneath the crypt of the Great Martyr Demetrios, so he is called “the Myrrh-gusher.”)

It has also been our tradition for weekday Liturgies that anyone free to join in can go with us to Denny’s for breakfast and fellowship after the service. We’re looking forward to gathering with those able to come on Thursday. If you would like to help read please let us know.

if you have a special devotion to one of the major saints and would like to celebrate their feast day with Divine Liturgy, please let us know and we will try to arrange it.
