Community Garden Update:
We have taken our first harvest of kale, greens, radishes, and rhubarb to the food bank (14 lbs rhubarb, 12 lbs radish /greens). The food bank kindly gives us eggs for our breakfast program in exchange.
The greenhouse has peppers, tomatoes, and basil at the moment. The garden beds are planted with kale, lettuce, spinach, parsley, cilantro, beans, cucumbers, peas, carrots, tomatoes, turnip, beets, broccoli, zucchini, eggplant, potatoes, strawberries, flowers, and red onion.
As always, there is weeding and watering to be done on a daily basis. If you are able to spend some time in our beautiful green garden, please let us know
