Don’t forget to put candy canes in the shoes left out for St. Nicholas. They are one of the symbols of St. Nicholas because he carries a staff, as do all Bishops, that is hooked at the top like a shepherd’s crook, showing that they are the shepherds who care for their people.

Join us on Sunday (Dec. 5) for our St. Nicholas Day party right after Divine Liturgy followed by public skating at the Kinsman Arena at 2pm.
