With the Feast!

Today, Aug. 31, is the Saints Day of our Church!

Saint Aidan of Lindisfarne was a steadfast defender of Celtic Christian practices and established monasteries, convents, and hermitages across Northumbria in the 7th century.

We are celebrating St. Aidan’s feast day this year with Litiya at vespers today at 6:00pm and then with the Church picnic next Saturday Sept. 6 at Ellen and Pat’s place from 12:30pm – 5:00pm. (We didn’t want to have the picnic on the long weekend.)

Burgers, hot dogs etc., soft drinks, boiled corn, ice cream will be provided. Bring side dishes, desserts, lawn chairs, guests and good cheer!!

Fun for all with jumpy castle for kids, bush bocce, corn hole competition, good conversations and a ‘walk about‘ guided by Pat.
