January Perogy Nights

Friday, Jan. 19, 7pm – making the potatoes and the fillings. We will need 6 people to peel and boil potatoes and make the filling.

Saturday, Jan. 20, 7pm (after Vespers) – making the perogys. On this night we need mixers, trays, rolling pins, but most importantly – people! We will need many volunteers to roll dough and pinch perogies.

Last month we made 250 perogies with 14 people. By splitting it into two nights this month, we hope to make triple that number. Then we will be almost ready for our first perogy dinner fundraiser of 2024!

Please RSVP to Fr. Andrew so that the right amount of ingredients can be bought for this month’s Perogy Nights. We get together every month to make perogy’s to sell frozen by the bag, and to sell at Community Perogy Dinner Nights. This fundraiser supports the monks at Holy Transfiguration Hermitage in Lone Butte, BC, and the amazing icons and carvings they make.
