Love endures all things

“Love . . . bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:7 – from today’s Epistle Reading.

Image: BC Wildfire Service. After hard work and dedication from ground crews and aviation resources, the St Mary’s River Wildfire is classified as being held. This means that due to suppression efforts of crews, under current conditions we do not expect this wildfire to grow beyond predetermined boundaries. Helicopters, airtankers and pilots worked closely with ground crews to successfully complete targets. Heavy equipment operators were instrumental in building the machine guards that crews could work from. Many of these personnel left their local response areas to protect homes and hold this fire.
